The Carnival is a place of community, where those on the periphery have the opportunity to band together and create an inspiring spectacle for all. Performers and innovators from all walks of life work together to make the circus a remarkable refuge for dreamers, where the impossible seems attainable and those often relegated to the sidelines are emboldened to shine at centre stage. By bringing us together in celebration of the most unique amongst us, the circus serves to diminish the differences that often come between us.

The circus has evolved across cultures and civilizations because it is a spectacle that draws us out of bleak and dreary times and invites us to remember our highest aspirations.  While always intended to entertain, it also heralds social change - through storytelling, through community building, and by inspiring its audience with death-defying feats of wonder. We can be brought together in mutual celebration of the most unique amongst us through the extravagant tableau under the big top.
